Benjamin Feldman
Mediator & Conflict Coach
I offer mediation and conflict coaching services to help people navigate some of the most difficult conflicts they will ever face. Whether you are working through a divorce, a family dispute, a workplace conflict, or a relationship in need of repair, I am dedicated to helping you find common ground, reach durable agreements, and move forward in the best way possible.
Prior to becoming a full-time mediator and coach, I had a diverse career, including positions as a teacher, tutor, and university fundraiser. In all of my work, I have sought to master the art of communication and have honed my ability to build relationships, guide people, and manage conflict. Along the way, I have learned to listen more than I speak and to trust people to make the best decisions for themselves.
I earned my bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's from the University of Pittsburgh. Having completed specialized training in divorce mediation and conflict management coaching, I have learned from some of the best in the business and continue to seek ways to get better at helping you through some of your most challenging moments.
In addition to my private practice, I serve as a community mediator with Just Mediation Pittsburgh, where I work primarily on landlord-tenant disputes. I also take on pro bono cases through the EEOC and the federal court system.
I serve as a board member of the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania. I am also a member of the Amicable Divorce Network, the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, and as an Allied Professional, the Financial Planning Association.
In addition to mediation and coaching, passions of mine include reading, writing, movies, music, yoga, travel, and hiking, as well as meaningful time spent with family and friends. You and I might never talk about my broader interests, but throughout our time together, you will feel my care for people and the world in which we live.
